Celebrating half a century in transportation
Setting out from the island of Crete in the distant 1960s, company founder Michalis Daskalakis carries his vision of a national distribution network to Athens.
Building on a series of local collaborations he succeeds in creating a nation-wide transportation network in a mere fifteen years.
Under the management of Angelos Brintzikis, the company becomes fully automated, extends her facilities for the first time and completes, back in the year 2000 her own autonomous distribution network in the region of Attica. The proprietary character of the network is a motive for founding a new company which inherits the valuable experience of its top executives, as well as for investing in new modern facilities in Aspropyrgos.
Through a series of further investment and expansion moves made under the Intralink Logistics brand the company comes to possess twenty regional freight-forwarding hubs throughout Greece which, together with its fully owned vehicle fleet, make her the country’s largest autonomous network for transportation.
This is the fruit of five decades of incessant efforts which have now turned, with the same passion, to the provision of services constituting the new benchmark for the branch.
